Both the surgeons, Navin Gupta and Sanjay Gupta were present at the AAO 2009 at San Francisco which is probably the greatest show on earth as far as ophthalmology is concerned .

on some challenging retinal cases
The purpose of attending this gala ophthalmic show was to:
1. Update with the latest in ophthalmlogy both in terms of scientific updates and techonogical instrumentation advancements.
2. To meet with the ophthalmologists from around the world and to share their experiences
3. To promote our phaco traning center to the young budding surgeons from all around the world (I have realized that sometimes even the most famous institutions often impart very little surgical experience to the residents and fellows)
