Is it possible to perform clear corneal SICS?
It surely is possible though I would certainly not advice it.
One of the beauty of the SICS is that it is performed on the sclera which
endows it with many advantages such as:
- lower rate of endophthalmitis and
2. lesser astigmatism for a similar length of tunnel performed on cornea.
But here it is a pleasure to watch the maestro of SICS, “the Houdini of SICS” as i call him, to perform a clear corneal SICS with implantation of a foldable IOL
